They Hanged Because Parents Stopped Them From marrying.

This is a picture of a girl & a boy who hanged themselves on a tree because their parents refused to let them marry each other. LOL
A disagreement between both families was what caused the parents to say No to their marriage.

My question is, Is saying No to their marriage by their parents is enough reason why they should take their lives? I believe they are grown ups and they have every right to love who they want to love.

Well, If you ask me I think they always wanted to commit suicide, lol...  It's in their blood

Now my question, Is this Love or Foolishness?

      what do u mean by that, their parents has the right to say yes or no. this is the more reason why their parents say no cos they are not in love, infact they are not matured committing suicide cos of No' how ridiculous if they truely love each other they can go ahead and get married without the consent of their parents instead of killing their self. who lose is them not their parents life goes on.

    Persons who doesn't have the Commandments of God cannot live within LOVE. As God Himself let us to know that this is the way we show our LOVE for Him "shewing mercies unto the thousands who LOVE ME and keep my commandments" It is showing our LOVE for God that make us to live within LOVE. The Commandment say "Thou shall not KILL". Suicide is killing your own self. These persons were not living LOVE. Hugs

    Well....to some it sounds and looks foolish but the power of love and strong soul tie can only do this. For 2persons to go out of the way to hang themselves is like a life without one another.
    This was the limit to what their hope could carry them both. Passionate love not properly guided can turn into this. I also blame the adamant parents upon realizing such level of love and commitment to have let them be.

    Now the parents will live with a wound regretting for refusal to obey their wish.

    Before calling it foolishness sit back and consider it can happen to anybody(most especially when love is soo strong and its a situation of its either him or her or death

    I have seen a young man marry a lady with HIV.....friends warned him...doctors warned him...his pastor warned him.....He told people he will die if he doesn't marry her...and made 2 attempts to die oo....

    They had to leave the guy,make eem marry ooo...since year 1999/2000 they still both alive with kids in Jos.

    Na soo live be....for some people it a Yes no NEVER ooo....b4 u call it foolishness just thank God say love no catch you to the extreme like this people wey dey another life so.

      but understanding differ. You write with wisdom bcos you have a walking knowledge. What abt those who don't know what you know?have you considered all hands is not eqaul/all emotions is not the same?.....that was d limit hope could carry them....let no man mock them or begin to judge...that's what am trying to pass accross to some critical Nigerian's who carry around the axe of judgement

      Wisdom is the principal things,they should have applied wisdom instead of commiting succide.@Skipper,thxs for ur post.infact,i am eperiencing one it,as in my friend ,she is a moslim and an hausa one(katsina state),u knw it is difficult for a non moslim to marry a moslim.we both love each other.i have to leave the area,even if we still communicate.just want people to know that" real love as u wrote exist"thx again for ur post.

      What happened to eloping??? They would have simply eloped. . . But as myopic thinkers caged by their anger for their family's interferance, all they could think of was to make their naughty families regret their decision. . . Of course these families will regret terribly initially but won't regret to that level forever. . . "Who is dead is who has lost". . . In as much as parents should be warned, lovers should grow up. There're three options, (1) abide by your parents decision, (2) elope or (3) die. . . But be warned!!! They world can't stop because you hung. . . Now, your parents are feeling guilty but how does that change your decision? You're dead, very dead & in hell!!! Double jeopardy!!! Sorry if i sound rebelious, but you're just weak minds & not fit for our society. You can listen to prof. Skipper & take your life @ the slightest provokation, letting your adversaries win or listen to me & fight your battles logically. Don't be a coward, don't encourage foolishness. . .

    Their world was ruled and ruined by their parents.. Their mistake? They forgot that they had their lives to live.. Quit unfortunate! My children, do not be propelled by fears.. Yes you can survive without your parents.. Don't be ruled by your parent's fears or decissions, rule your world.. Don't be a babar's sit.. Follow the part of righteousness, stay out of trouble, owe no man nothing except love.. Your parent passed thro' the same course of life before they gave birth to you!

    It is sad news. Love is not do or die affair. True love is patient, they could have waited, Zera Zera. But the two parents caused it, what is their gain now?. My advice to Parents is in life 3 choices is crucial and it is decided by an individual. 1. WHOM TO SERVE 2. NATURE OF WORK and 3. WHOM TO MARRY.
