Former Super Eagles Defender's Father Killed By Kidnappers.

The decomposed body of 80 year old Chief James Iloenyosi from Abagana in Anambra State, the father of Ex-super Eagles player, Chikelue Iloenyosi who was kidnapped by gun men three days before his birthday was found yesterday in the bush by the State Police Command.
It wound be recalled that the former Super Eagles player, Chikelue Iloenyosi played professional football in France and Turkey before retirement.

According to the Anambra State Police Commissioner, CP Usman Gwary said, the command would not want anything that could jeopardize investigations adding that four suspects had been arrested for the kidnap of the late Iloenyosi.

The Octogenarian’s family was planning his 80th Birthday bash for 28th November 2013, but the hoodlums stormed his house on the 25th November and whisked him away.

When the information flew out, the State Police Command deployed over 700 policemen to comb all the nooks and crannies of the state in search of the man, but all to no avail.

The family was also made to part with 1.5 million naira as ransom by his abductors which they declared insufficient before the man died.

One of the daughters of the deceased and a well known politician Hajia Chinyere Oguguo-Agagbo was all tears yesterday and could not be consoled by the husband Okpoka Agagbo and relations.

She was reigning courses on the people who perpetrated such act imploring God to show the wicket that he was in control of the universe.

Two of the suspects, who was shielded from reporters by Security Operatives in order not to derail investigations confessed to have kidnapped the man in November 25, 2015.

One of them (names withheld) told the Nation yesterday that when they collected the money and told the family to bring more, that they did not know that the man would die in the custody.

He said, when he gave up the ghost, they carried the corpse to Nneyi village Umueri community bush where they dumped him.

The late Pa James Iloenyosi was recognized by the Police and family members via the cloth and cap he was putting on before he was kidnapped.

According to the CP, Usman Gwary while speaking with reporters yesterday, “we are not going to say much on the details of this operation because we have not finished the investigation in order not to jeopardize what we are doing”

“We still have a lot of people to pick up concerning the kidnap of the man but right now, we have arrested four persons to that effect, thank you” Gwary said.
