There are plans by some APC group lead by
Atiku Abubakar, Chief Onu, Chief Ikimi, Alhaji Sheriff and some
governors to block me from the ticket.
The leader of
the All Progressive Congress (APC) and former Head of state, Maj Gen
Muhammadu Buhari may leave the opposition party if the new members of
the party succeded in denying him the President ticket of APC in the
2015 President election.
The embittered former Head of state
complained about the various grand plans by APC group lead by Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar, Chief Onu, Chief Ikimi, Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff and some
APC state governors who bent of ensuring that his name will not be on
the ballot paper as the Presidential candidate.
Buhari has
earlier complained about the activities of the Lagos state Governor,
Babatunde Fashola, who is shopping for a neutral presidential candidate
outside him and new APC comer Atiku Abubakar.
Buhari was said
to haveThe APC leader reminded Alhaji Bola Tinubu of his sacrifice since
the pre and post registration of their party.
"Remember that the
major foundation for APC was my presidential bid and not for some new
boys to come and hijack the machinery and dictate to us", the
disappointed Buahi said.
Buhari passinately appealed to Tinubu
to checkmate the activities of these state Governors, who are working
against him aspiration and warned that he will be left with no option
than to leave the APC, if unresonably pushed off the APC Presidencial
ticket.
To the demoralised Gen Buhari, it is getting certain that
he will lose the APC ticket to either Alhaji Atiku or any of the
Northern younger candidates, that he refused to mention.
According to Polls, Maj Gen Buhari compared to other APC Presidential
aspirants, has the highest chance of challenging President Goodluck
Jonathan in the February 14, 2014 election.

ReplyDeleteHe is trying to make his CV bulky may be when he is 100yr he may apply as consultant of failure experience, old man that don't have respect for himself . I Iike GMB before but He is Irritating me with his desperation, wouldn't he learn from IBB Abdusallam? Those guys are very wise in cheating Nigeria in silence and still respected for not coming out to disgrace themselves. Baba GMB please quit politics is not your Calling. Your calling is to make other government ungovenable.
ReplyDelete"I brought General Buhari into politics; It’s not that I want to expose him. We did everything to support and encourage him. He called my son Mohammed to join Congress for Progressive Change, CPC. They rejected Mohammed by force during the governorship race. This was the trend, not only in Kano, but also in Katsina, Bauchi and other states. I think it is not healthy for democracy; not just because of Mohammed but for the smooth play of democratic norms and values. Democracy is the choice of the people. But when people put their own personal interest first and they interfere [in the process], then it is no longer democracy. It is unfortunate that elders like them could come belittle themselves in the race." - Maryam Abacha.

U cant rule nigeria again that the truth.so stop worring urself and making urself a subject of ridicule by small boys in politics
ReplyDeleteBuhari as a person may be a good man. But as a presidential candidate, he is a hard sell. He has lots of things going against him amongst them are age, perception of him as a religious zealot in the south, baggage from his days as a military head of state, his perceived bias against the south in citing projects during his days as PTF chairman etc.
ReplyDeleteSecondly Buhari has held almost every important position in his working life from military governor, minister of petroleum, military head of state and has contested for the civilian presidency on a number of occasions. What else does he want? Is it not time for him to step aside and give the younger generation a chance like all civilized elder statemen do? Does Nigeria belong to him alone? This is greed as I believe strongly that he is part of the reason we are in this sorry state. No wonder El -Rufai tagged him perpetually unelectable. The old man should smell the coffee and go home to his grand children.
Hahaha! U r a joker.
