The Ogun Police Command have arrested a
38-year-old man, Adelani Ayomide, for being in possession of a bag
containing 18 human skulls.
A statement by the state
command’s spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, issued in Abeokuta said Mr.
Ayomide was arrested on Thursday along the Ado-Odo-Owode road at about
6.48 a.m. during a routine police stop-and-search operation.
He said that the case would be transferred to the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta for further investigation.
Mr. Adejobi gave assurance that every person involved in the crime would be arrested and arraigned after investigation
